Why I love diving in Otago?
The coastline around Otago is awesome. There are many dive locations in Otago which provide a sense of isolation and wilderness.
Favourite underwater memory?
When I was 8 my dad started taking me off the coast of Taieri Mouth to get Paua. We didn't have fins, snorkels, wetsuits or weight belts and Dad's mask had a shoe lace for a mask strap. I don't recall ever being cold but I do remember the long walk to the island, holding open the old mutton cloth catch bag and the sweet taste of fried Paua patties between generously buttered slices of white bread.
Hunting, last card with the Bandits and pork. And by pork, I specifically mean roast pork and crackling with white bread and butter.
