Why I love diving in Otago?
The kelp forests are beautiful, the Sea Lions are exciting and the wrecks are pretty special too. Aside from what is underwater, it is the people that you get to dive with that really make it great. People who dive in Otago are a special breed, they are not afraid of a little effort for a great reward, they are adventurous and have a genuine love for the ocean.
Favourite underwater memory?
My top three would have to be: Diving with Sea Lions playing at Gull Rock on the Otago Peninsula, 9 Grey Nurse Sharks at Byron Bay and finally my first dive in the Solomons on a Japanese submarine.
