This weeks feature is Aqua Lung’s Axiom BCD; a wrap around jacket style inflation system. If you like the flexibility and movement of a rear inflated BCD, yet enjoy the comfort and support of the jacket style BCD, the Axiom is the perfect fit. This hybrid model focuses on comfort, streamlining, functionality and is fully featured. Comfort starts with Aqua Lungs patented “wrapture harness system” allowing you to stand vertically effortlessly in a full set of gear. How? The wrapture system, positions the cylinder closer to your center of gravity allowing the weight to transfer to your hips rather than putting strain on your lower back and shoulders. Additionally the added comfort of swivel shoulder buckles and close fitting comfort ensures the BCD will not ride to your ears when fully inflated at the surface, sitting as a jacket should comfortably on your shoulders.

Ice Dive

Today was the Cromwell Underwater Club annual Ice dive like Alta at The Remarkables. It was a stunning day with blue skies and not a breath of wind. There were 14 divers and the day was run super well by Steve Bell and his team of helpers. Kelly, Virginia, Levi, Tom, Will and Josh all made the trip and everyone had silly grins and sunburnt cheeks after a great day diving.

Southern Right Whales in
