About Us

Dive Otago is New Zealand’s leading dive training centre, based on the shores of Otago Harbour in beautiful Dunedin. For over 25 years, we’ve been training divers at every level — from complete beginners to professional instructors — offering world-class facilities, expert instruction, and a strong community focus.

Who We Are

Founded in 1997, Dive Otago has built a reputation for excellence in scuba education, marine safety, and environmental awareness. We’re proud to be the only tertiary training provider in the South Island offering full-time NZQA-approved dive qualifications, alongside a wide range of recreational and professional diving courses.
